Joining a committee has many benefits. For starters its a great way to get more involved with AMA, your school, and other students. Members learn team building skills, improve their communications skills, and gain a broader marketing background. They also get a chance to network with students and professionals as well as build their resume.

The Corporate Relations committee helps AMA members build relationships with professionals in the industry by effectively communicating through networking events, creating personal business cards, improving networking skills, communicating with companies and professionals, attaining corporate sponsorships, acquiring internships, and reaching out to individuals to further improve AMA’s speaker series.

Want to give back to the community? Write scripts, direct films, or act? As part of the AMA Saves Lives Committee, you will get the chance to get together with fellow AMAers to create campaigns to promote organ donations, donate to awesome causes, and help save lives! Get to know people, get involved, and make a difference. It’s a great chance to build your resume, get hands on experience, and meet incredible people!

Want to help get the word out about CSULB American Marketing Association? Then the communication committee is right for you. Here you will get the chance to spread the word about events and general meetings through print and social media. Also whether you know your way around Photoshop or want to improve your skills, communications committee is a great place to start using those skills by helping to design our AMA event flyers. Communications committee is also a great way to become a more involved member of AMA as well as a great way to gain marketing experience and learn about the marketing world around us.

The Fundraising Committee is an active group of bright, motivated, and creative students who collaborate together in the CSULB AMA chapter.
