Company Description:
Blue Sky Transitions was created to ease the burden associated with the loss of a loved one or other life transition that involves estate dispersal and liquidation. From finding and pre-screening service providers to coordinating and supervising the entire process, we take care of everything. Estate dispersal and liquidation involves coordinating an overwhelming number of things: estate sales, charity pickups, real estate agents, house cleaners, home repair specialists, pet sitters, document shredders, and more. Families need to do all of this while attempting to carry on with your “normal” life, taking care of their family, keeping up with work, traveling back and forth from their own home (which might be located far away), and dealing with their own grief. We act like wedding coordinators in coordinating all the essential services so the family doesn’t have to deal with it.
Intern Description:
We are looking for people that have a genuine desire to help people and would be passionate about their work with us. We would like someone creative to help develop an educational guide to distribute when meeting with various companies and groups to whom we give educational speeches to. Our vision of the guide is a 5-10 page packet that helps families of all ages create a checklist for all important and personal documentation to be in order in the event of an emergency or death. Other responsibilities will include:
• Social media development with Facebook, Twitter, Blogging etc.
• Creating and updating content for website to include monthly articles
• Helping identify target markets
• Updating current marketing material
• Assisting with the use of Constant Contact
Requirements:
• Have great computer and writing skills
• Working on a degree in marketing, communications, or related field
• Be available at least 3-5 hours a week. Times and days are very flexible with work being able to be performed at your desired location.
• Graphic design experience
• Self motivated go getter type
