Position Title: Sales College Graduate Associate Program
The College Graduate Trainee Program allows for a new graduate to learn about the various divisions and functions of Sales, including but not limited to: Account forecast/demand planning experience for base and promotional volume; strategic analysis of account specific and market data; utilization of category management and syndicated data information to develop customer specific market/account opportunities; develop promotional account business plans to achieve growth and profit objectives by business line.
College Graduate Trainee Functions:
Develop and demonstrate the ability to grow a category through new item presentations, recommendations and IRI analysis
Work with Marketing regarding account specific promotions, threats & opportunities
Receive and react to daily shortages, quality issues, etc.
Administration functions include Trade Promotional Management deal entry, post analysis of lift vs. spend, expense report assistance to team members,
and Account deduction processing
Audit 3 rd party in-store retail merchandising team performance; measuring against store level scorecard; Out of Stock %, Void % and schematic compliance
Document actual store level schematics to build our space schematic capabilities
Perform store blitz POS projects when necessary
Additional Job Functions:
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Must be a sharp and motivated graduate looking to get “inside knowledge” and experience within Food/CPG Sales department.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and have strong inter-personal relationship skills.
Must be comfortable speaking in front of a group and must be willing and able to handle confrontation.
Demonstrate the ability to learn and manage account P&L
Have the ability to work independently.
One-year experience in sales or closely related area (i.e., marketing, market research, etc.) desired, preferably in a consumer product or perishable food industry preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and graphics programs.
High energy and drive with good organizational skills.

SOCIAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP
Social Haven Marketing
Social Haven is a social media management firm that offers small business owners personalized social media marketing plans, consulting and ongoing management services. Our goal is to relieve the stress that business owners feel when it comes to social media, allowing them to focus on what they do best… run their business.
Hours & Pay:
The starting pay for this position is $14 per hour. 8-10 hours are required per week to be spread over 2-3 weekdays. The exact schedule is flexible and can be worked out between the Intern and Social Haven President. This is a contracted position, which will require completion of the necessary tax forms to be provided upon hire.
Assist with managing the social media presence for Social Haven clients which includes (but is not limited to):
–Communicating directly with Social Haven small business clients
–Writing and scheduling social media posts weekly
–Monitoring of industry and trending news for post content
–Online research of competitor social media activity and industry influencers
–Social media listening through our tools like Hootsuite in order to respond and engage with fans and followers
–Social media outreach, following new industry profiles across all platforms
–Assist with preparation and proofreading of reports and other client documents
–Collect social media metrics and data for monthly reports
Intern will work directly with the Social Haven President from her home office
-Strong writing skills particularly in conversational style
-Familiarity and strong interest in working with social media for businesses
-High proficiency in Microsoft Office products
-Preferred: Familiarity with social media management tools like hootsuite, Feedly and Buffer (not required)
-Professional mannerisms and demeanor
-Strong work ethic and positive attitude
-Must have a well-functioning laptop to bring to work
-Preferred: Marketing or Business major with minimum 2 years of school completed with high marks
